Mental Health and Wellness
Emily Garber has been practicing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner since 2010. She has worked in a variety of settings including internal medicine, behavioral health, urgent care, hospitalist medicine, wound and ostomy care, and palliative care. She is certified as an adult nurse practitioner with additional certifications as a certified wound care nurse and advanced hospice and palliative care nurse. She received her B.A. from Brown University and her M.S.N. (Masters of Science in Nursing) from Yale University. She is currently training at University of Saint Joseph in their post-master psychiatric nurse practitioner program. She is affiliated with Saint Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT. She also currently acts as an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University in the department of nursing.
Emily started this practice due to seeing a need for care that focuses on patient empowerment, education and provides the structure for patients to be able to easily access their provider. The practice has evolved to integrate mental health and primary care as true wellness cannot be achieved without addressing the mind body connection and seeing each patient holistically. She looks forward to working with you to achieve your health goals.
